Bekah's third birthday came the day after Thanksgiving this year. That morning Brad took Bekah out for her birthday breakfast at Denny's where she had plenty to eat (including a piece of chocolate cake!) The following Sunday, we had a party for her at our house for the family. We ate a buffet-style lunch and then Bekah got to open her presents (with a little help from her sister!). She really enjoyed her presents and all the attention! The afternoon was capped off with cake and ice cream -- the highlight for Bekah! She's definitely a bundle of energy and it's so fun to have "big girl" conversations with her. She's crossed over the threshold into little girl-hood. :)We ended the evening with a trip to the tree farm to pick out our Christmas tree. As has been the case the last few years, we picked rather quickly and headed back to our warm home to decorate the tree -- something the girls enjoyed helping with/I enjoyed letting them help with for the first time.
