This morning's funny one...

I was telling the girls this morning while brushing their hair that it's about time for another haircut. I asked Emilie how she wanted her hair cut and she said she wanted it cut to "here" (a spot just a little below her ears). I then asked Bekah how she wanted her hair cut and she said, "With scissors." I laughed so hard I almost cried!
I've realized, however, that I need to be more careful about telling these kinds of stories about Bekah. She really takes it hard when others laugh at the cute things she says or does. Hopefully someday she'll learn to laugh at herself and see the humor in these things as well!

Sherif Sam

Brad's parents just returned from vacation in SD and brought the kids back cap guns and holsters and then also bought the boys badges and these hilarious shirts (Nathan's is an Indian). Sam struck me as especially cute because the holster practically hangs down to his ankles!
(Okay...I can't decide how to spell 'sherif'...It seems to me that there should be two 'f's, but the new dictionary we just got today spells it 'sherif', so I'm going with that!) :)

Painting! Yippee!

The color on the wall is pretty hard to see because the bulbs for the recessed lighting are dangling down, causing it to be really bright in some spots. But you can probably get the general idea.

Gum

Can you fit anymore in your mouth?

The Carousel (at the zoo)

Sam almost chickened out while we were waiting for the carousel to start, but liked it after we started moving.

The Zoo

Feeding the goats

About half of the kids that came with us. Sam was over at the next picnic trying to mooch some food. You can see his yellow shirt in the top corner. Who's kid is this? :)

Ever since the air show, the only thing this kid notices is airplanes!

Last Friday we went to the zoo with three other families. We had a great time and the weather was gorgeous! Here's a few pics...

Good Deeds?

We have a CD with some Bible verses put to music and after lunch today, the girls and I were singing one of them. The original verse is Matthew 5:16 "That they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." Here's Bekah's version: "That they may see your capris and glorify your Father in heaven." We've since cleared up the misunderstanding...
