A few moments ago at the breakfast table...
Emilie: Mom, my juice looks soggy.
What??? I'm just going to let that one be.

Bike Riding Update
I was wrong about Nathan riding w/out training wheels before either of the girls. Emilie was determined this last week to ride and she did it! Also -- on that video I posted, Nathan didn't knock the car over, Sam did (he's in it) -- for those of you that missed that fact!
Bekah's Schooling
Phone conversation Bekah had with my Mom about 15 minutes ago:
Mom: Did you do school already today?
Bekah: Yep.
Mom: What did you learn?
Bekah: I didn't learn nothing.
Mom: Maybe next week that will be, "I didn't learn anything."
Still laughing about that one!

The #1 Reason We Need Another Bathroom
Apparently while I was at work this morning, there was a point when the line for the bathroom was backing up. Nathan was in "emergency" stage and it was looking like he was going to have a long time to wait. So, Brad told him to just go do his business off the back porch. Well, the door was locked in a way that he couldn't open it so, being the three year old that he is, he just used the front porch instead. I wonder how many people drove by laughing -- or disgusted.

Nathan Riding Bike
I have a feeling Nathan will be riding without training wheels before either of the girls. The bike he's been on tonight (in video) is a little too large for him and, as you can see, he still rides it like it's nothing...Including standing up off the seat.
And for those of you who may be afraid to laugh at this video, rest assured that no one was injured in the filming of this video.

A Funny One...
This one has struck me as funny for awhile, but I keep forgetting to relay it to others...
Emilie's math curriculum came with a set of blocks that I originally referred to as "blocks," but have lately been calling them "manipulatives" (I'm not sure why...). Well, Emilie can never seem to recall the right word for them and usually calls them "manipulators." :)
And, for those who may not have heard, Nathan ended up in Urgent Care this afternoon with a cut on the back of his head. After a long wait (at nap time, no less), I thought it might be better to just go home (afterall, it was probably nothing and the bleeding had pretty much stopped). Well, I'm glad we stuck it out. He ended up getting 4 staples in the back of his head! I guess I should've been expecting this from him!
